Water/Sewer To Be Billed Monthly

The Edmore Village Council voted unanimously at the regular council meeting on June 9th to move from a quarterly to monthly water and sewer billing cycle. This change applies only to residential users and not commercial users. Water/sewer bills can still be paid on a quarterly or even a yearly basis. The decision to move to monthly billing was made in part to help those living on a fixed-income to budget for this monthly expense. As it was approved the most recent bill for May and June will be due on July 16 without penalty and if not paid in full shutoff would occur on August 1. The July water and sewer bill would be sent out on July 31 and due on August 16 without penalty. The Village Finance Director encourages residents that wish to save stamps and time to contact their local financial institution to enroll in BillPay and remind residents that the Village Mailbox is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week at the Curtis Community Building.
