Consumer Confidence Report

Every community water system has an obligation to ensure that their consumers receive the required information each year by July 1st for sampling results from the previous calendar year. In order to comply with this regulation, a copy of the Consumer Confidence Report is mailed annually to our customers. These reports were sent out with the Village Summer tax bill. Copies of the report are availableConsumer Confidence Report 2016 and on the Village of Edmore DPW page.

Village Office Closed Monday July 4th

The Village of Edmore Offices will be closed Monday July 4th for Independence Day. Office will be open Tuesday at 9:00am. The office drop box is still available if you wish to make a water/sewer or tax payment.

Rust in Village Water

The Village is experiencing an increase of rusty water complaints throughout the village. We believe much of the problem is from the chlorination of the system as a result of the water tower being offline. We will continue to monitor the water supply and continue to flush hydrants to clear up the lines.

Chlorine is an oxidizer, and it is most likely reacting with the iron in the water and/or the deposits in the water mains. To combat the problem with hydrant flushing as we receive complaints. If you are experiencing rust in your water please allow it to run and it should clear up shortly.

NOTICE OF SEALED BID FOR SALE OF REAL PROPERTY

The Village of Edmore is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of the following real property  for the purpose of business development as described in the attached Notice of Bid Opening: The Property commonly known as 641 E. Gilson Street consisting of approximately 1.14 acres of land, as more particularly described and depicted in Exhibit “A”, attached hereto and incorporated herein. The sale of the Property shall be awarded, at the discretion of the Village Council, to the bidder submitting a bid in accordance with the terms outlined below, and providing the best value to the Village.
