The Village of Edmore uses a tag and bag system for garbage. Tags and bags can be purchased at the Village Office, Edmore Foods, Jorgensen’s, Tru-Value and Hansen Pharmacy. Costs are $1.00 per bag or tag.
Tags must be attached around the neck of the bag, containers must have tag attached, container size should be less than 32 gallons and should refuse only.
Yard Waste is collected for free each Tuesday of the month and brush collection/chipper service is provided the 2nd Tuesday of the Month to all single family residential properties April through November. Yard waste must be in a yard waste bag.

To ensure the safety of DPW employees, equipment and efficiency in offering this service the DPW Supervisor suggests to follow these guidelines

Brush shall be placed in the front yard at the edge of the public street or alley.

No limbs larger than 4 inches in diameter will be accepted.

Piles of brush should be stacked neat and orderly and under four feet in height.

No vines or loose leaves will be accepted, lawn bag are available for purchase at the village office.

Brush intertwined with plastics will not be accepted.

No metal or wire (fencing, electrical cable, root balls, etc) will be accepted.

No lot clearing debris or whole tree or that from a  byproduct of commercial cutting/trimming will be accepted.

Leaf season starts October to early December. During this period please place your leaves at the curb.

Limit the weight of bags to less than 50 lbs.

Place by the curb by 7:30am.
