The Village of Edmore Offices will be closed Monday July 4th for Independence Day. Office will be open Tuesday at 9:00am. The office drop box is still available if you wish to make a water/sewer or tax payment.
The Village is experiencing an increase of rusty water complaints throughout the village. We believe much of the problem is from the chlorination of the system as a result of the water tower being offline. We will continue to monitor the water supply and continue to flush hydrants to clear up the lines.
Chlorine is an oxidizer, and it is most likely reacting with the iron in the water and/or the deposits in the water mains. To combat the problem with hydrant flushing as we receive complaints. If you are experiencing rust in your water please allow it to run and it should clear up shortly.
We appreciate your patience with the inconvenience. Please call the Village Office at 427-5641 if you have any questions.
Village candidates who wish to seek office at the November general election must file an
Affidavit of Identity and a nonpartisan nominating petition by 4:00 p.m.,
