Deadline to File Petitions

To the qualified electors of the Village of Edmore, notice is hereby given that the Village General Election will be held as part of the statewide General Election on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. The 2020 Village General Election will be held for the purpose of electing four candidates the the Edmore Village Council.

The last day to file nominating petitions and the required Affidavit of Identity to be a candidate listed on the ballot for this General Election is 4 PM on July 21, 2020. Nominating Petitions and forms can be obtained at the Village offices at 209 S. Sheldon, Edmore, Michigan during normal business hours. Nominating Petitions signed by at least 15, but not more than 29, registered voters in the Village of Edmore and the required Affidavit of Identity need to be returned to the Home Township Clerk, by 4 PM deadline on July 21, 2020.

Seats to be elected this November:

1 – Village President – 2 year term

3 – Village Trustee – 4 year terms.
